Qualitative Methods Journal Club

by the Society for the Study of Addiction

Organiser:

Jo Neale, Professor in Addictions Qualitative Social Sciences, King’s College London.

Details:

This SSA-funded initiative is aimed at increasing knowledge of qualitative research practice. The Journal Club is overseen by Professor Jo Neale from King’s College London, and is hosted by different international academic institutions on a rolling 6 month programme. Researchers meet monthly to discuss a paper, and following the meeting a copy of the paper and a summary of the discussion from the journal club is made available on the SSA website. Over time, this will develop into a library of examples of good practice that those interested in conducting qualitative addictions research can access.

How to get involved:

Contact Joanne [dot] Neale [at] kcl [dot] ac [dot] uk or graham [at] addiction-ssa [dot] org to sign up. The SSA will release a copy of the paper and summary of discussion on their website after each meeting.
