Inspiring the future of research ethics event

2 Oct 2023

How can ethical processes be improved to better meet the needs of communities and researchers? The Inspiring Ethics event was designed to generate ideas about the future potential of ethical review processes, and included researchers, communities, participants, community projects/services, and co- researchers/lived experience experts. The full day workshop enabled communities and researchers to collaboratively discuss problems within the current ethical review processes and formulate potential solutions.

We are very grateful to the McPin Foundation for hosting this event, to the King's Engaged Researcher Network for funding it, and to the community members and organisations who attended such as High Trees, Black Thrive Global, and Toynbee Hall.

You can read a full summary of the event as a pdf here and see beautiful visual notes created by Tamara-Jade Kaz, along with a downloadable alt-text for screenreader users, below.
