QSIG Midday Talk Recording: Inspiring ethics in qualitative health research

In this session, Sohail Jannesari (Post-doctoral researcher, Sohail Jannesari) will introduce the Inspiring Ethics group. He writes, ‘Cross-cultural and participatory qualitative health research has an ethical problem. University ethical processes increase the distance between researchers and participants, current ethical processes are protracted, rigid and inefficient, and university ethical values do not match many of those held by the participants we work with. We've created an interdisciplinary group, Inspiring Ethics, to think about how we address these issues as qualitative health researchers.’
